Fees are an important issue for many people and working from home and initially not being subject to VAT, I can offer competitive rates. Please feel free to contact me for my fixed rates for conveyancing, wills and leases. My rates for divorce work are £150 per hour with an initial free half hour interview. Some firms do offer a fixed rate for undefended divorce but as the bulk of the work in divorce usually involves the financial aspects, which need to be resolved before decree absolute, I will not be offering this. You may also find that the other party to the divorce is ordered to pay the costs up to the issue of the divorce petition.

It often helps to see clients at an initial interview to get a feel for all the issues involved. However, this is not always possible due to clients commitments or because they live long distances away. I can deal with clients by telephone or email if necessary.
